The flower girls and the page boys in the wedding ceremony

The wedding ceremony consists of many numbers of people. Apart from the audience and the family members, there are many participants in the wedding ceremony. These participants play many important roles in the wedding ceremony. Some of the participants were the bride, groom, bridesmaid, chief bridesmaid dresses in junior bridesmaid dresses, groomsmen and best man. Apart from them there were small girls participating in the wedding ceremony called as flower girls. The flower girls were usually the family members of the bride and the groom. Sometime they may be friends of the bride or groom. The flower girls play important role during the entrance processional. During this entrance processional, the flower girls walk in the front. The main duty of the flower girls was to throw the petals of the flowers on the floor. Sometimes, they will carry the bouquet or some thorn less flowers in their hand while walking.

After the entrance processional is over, the flower girls will go to sit along with their parents to watch the wedding. The elder flower girl will guide the other flower girls to stand quietly, if the wedding will not be too long.  Usually the flower girls of four to eight years old will not be quiet. So the elder flower girls will feel insulted due to this baby role. So always the elder flower girl guides the other small flower girls. There will be more than one flower girl in a wedding ceremony. Sometime many flower girls will be walking in the front, in the case that the family has many small girls. However it looks beautiful to watch the flower girls watching in front of the marriage couple. Usually the dress for the flower girls will be provided by the bride and the groom. They normally pay for their children’s dresses. However now days, the dress for the flower girls were paid by the parents of the flower girls.

The male equivalent to the flower girls was the page boys and the ring bearers. The page boys are the young boys who attend the groom in the wedding ceremony. However many of the wedding ceremony will not have page boys. If there are young boys in the family of the bride and groom, they will act as the page boys. The page boy’s duty is to carry the train of the bride, if it is too long there will be a big train. Like these young girls and boys play some roles in the wedding ceremony. Usually the dresses of the flower girls and bridesmaid will look similar and uniform to give a great look. However the dresses of the flower girls, plus size bridesmaid dresses bridesmaid, groomsmen and page boys will also be very expensive. Some shops sell discount bridesmaid dresses and the others dresses. There are many deals to purchase the wedding ceremony dresses. So the parents find easy to get the dresses for the flower girls and the page boys and they can also readily accept the expense of their dress. Thus even the small girls and boys in a family play some role in the wedding ceremony.
